What is Embrace(d)?

The Embrace(d) Project is a passion project I wanted to offer in response to what’s popular in our industry, currently….the mini-session. It’s about connection with your family and with the seasons. Over the course of a Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter, your family will be documented along the way. Each of the (4) 2-hour sessions will take place in and near your home, reflecting the seasonal changes in your normal, everyday environment. The entire project will be documented using film photography. After completing the project, a custom archival book will be made highlighting the year and seasons with an option to upgrade to an heirloom fine art album if desired. Your family will also receive your photographs in high resolution, via download through your online gallery site which showcases all of your photographs from throughout the project, making it easy to view and share with family.

Why sign up?

The Embrace(d) project is for families who see and know the importance of mundane, beautiful moments throughout the seasons. It’s the complete antithesis of the mini-session. It’s about slowing down, not cramming in as much as we can. A family should sign up for this project if the thought of holding a collection of photographs spanning the course of a year, really excites them. The use of film photography adds an incredibly unique aesthetic to the collection. This isn’t for everyone. But, for some, this will be everything.

How much?

A full year investment is $3800 and includes (4) 2-hour sessions throughout the year, an online gallery for sharing your photographs with family and friends, an archival book highlighting the year and all of your photographs via download. Payment can be made in full, month by month or however is most convenient.
