Clark + Debbie's Wedding / Unity Baptist Church / Moose Lodge 963

What a fun wedding. I'm so happy for Clark and Debbie and very grateful they gave me the opportunity to photograph the day. This is such a great job, because every wedding is unique and personal.  It's never a boring day at the office. On this day I had beautiful weather, super nice people, great food, Hamlet and some amazing live music. The only bad part of the day was my over indulgence of various types of delicious chili at the reception, which left me a tad uncomfortable during the dance :/ I still think it was worth it, however. Thanks so much for all your support and encouragement! You can order prints here.

Clark + Debbie / Engaged!

My friendship with Debbie goes back quite a ways.  She is one of the most helpful and giving people I know.  I have fond memories of using her Rossmor loft during the St. Paul Art Crawls and being encouraged by her words on numerous occasions. When she contacted me not long ago and mentioned she was engaged and planning a wedding I felt so happy and excited for her.  My excitement has grown even more recently, because I have the privilege of bringing my camera gear to the wedding. I've noticed the more weddings I photograph, the more grateful for them I have become. I am humbled by the unique responsibility of trying to accurately and artfully convey how everything unfolds.  It's really not rocket science, but there is a certain amount of respect owed to an event like a wedding and the people involved.  I've heard rumblings that Debbie will wear green and there will be a rendition of Hamlet and a 12 piece brass band. Whoa. Congrats you guys, thanks for turning our meeting into a short, but sweet engagement session.  See you in a week!
