50mm 1-4G

Sarah / Augsburg Park / Richfield, MN

It's not too late to book a "cool" winter session!  We still have some snow on the ground and the winter light is just amazing! All color photos were taken with an F100 + 50mm lens with Kodak Portra 400 film. All black and white photos were taken with a Mamiya 645 Pro TL + 80mm 1.9 Lens on Kodak TMAX 400 B/W film. Rock On!

Clark + Debbie / Engaged!

My friendship with Debbie goes back quite a ways.  She is one of the most helpful and giving people I know.  I have fond memories of using her Rossmor loft during the St. Paul Art Crawls and being encouraged by her words on numerous occasions. When she contacted me not long ago and mentioned she was engaged and planning a wedding I felt so happy and excited for her.  My excitement has grown even more recently, because I have the privilege of bringing my camera gear to the wedding. I've noticed the more weddings I photograph, the more grateful for them I have become. I am humbled by the unique responsibility of trying to accurately and artfully convey how everything unfolds.  It's really not rocket science, but there is a certain amount of respect owed to an event like a wedding and the people involved.  I've heard rumblings that Debbie will wear green and there will be a rendition of Hamlet and a 12 piece brass band. Whoa. Congrats you guys, thanks for turning our meeting into a short, but sweet engagement session.  See you in a week!
