Jon is the President of Desiring God, and more importantly...a dear friend. He is a humble servant and someone I admire and thank God for. He asked me to take his portrait for a book that will be coming out soon. It's not in my DNA to just take a quick headshot of someone, so this is the by-product of a simple headshot assignment.
