Minneapolis film photographer
Hellen is a friend who happens to LOVE baking. I love to eat sweets...so, one morning I went over to her cosy Minneapolis home to document her life in the kitchen and eat some stuff :) As many of you know, I prefer b/w photography. I did take some color photos during this session, but that window light with b/w film just looks so nice. Check out Hellen's food here.
I got to spend a couple hours with the Bolduc family on their Grandparents property north of Minneapolis, recently. This session was a blast. The kids enjoyed hiking around and heard all about the outdoors from their great Grandpa, who happens to be a naturalist. Everyone just hung out and enjoyed a perfect Sunday afternoon together. We let the snakes out, fed the turtles, built stuff with Lego's and tended the garden. Nothing was off limits and candidness and just 'going with the flow' was the mood. I first heard about Alex and Jenna from her sister, Erica...just scroll down to the previous post to meet Erica and Eric ;) Both sisters are planning weddings for 2016. Crazy, right?! But, so exciting. After Erica and Eric decided to have me photograph their wedding, I wondered if I'd get an email from Jenna. Eventually I did, and they also decided to have me photograph their wedding. By this point, I was somewhat over the moon. I mean, two sisters are planning their weddings in the same year and I'm going to photograph both of them. Its just so rad. I recently got to hang with both couples for their engagement sessions and I'm so pleased with the photos. Jenna and Alex had me come out to their property in the south metro and we pretty much just hung out and let the sun set. Here's a collection of photos from our time together.
