Sometimes I am really surprised by how weddings turn out. Not from a photography perspective, but by the people involved. This wedding was one of those that I wish I could get all the time. I never ran into the disgruntled Uncle or irritated Bridesmaid. Don't get me wrong, weddings can be high stress and emotions are all over the place. I know. But the whole day was a joy and the people were a joy to be around. A lot of people danced! Even after Collin and Ashley left. So cool! And even though the smoke from the sparklers choked and nearly blinded Ashley, she kept a smile on her face the entire time. Congrats Collin and Ashley, you made it. May God pour out abundant grace and love in you both as your lives continue as one.

Aaron + Katie's Wedding / Moir Park / N Mississippi Regional Park
I LOVED THIS WEDDING. A WORSHIP FILLED CEREMONY IN A SMALL PARK AND GOOD FOOD WITH GREAT FRIENDS. I'M STILL BLOWN AWAY THAT AARON AND KATIE INVITED ME TO THE WEDDING AND I HAD THE PRIVILEGE OF PHOTOGRAPHING IT. THANKS GUYS, YOU WERE BOTH AMAZING. YOUR DAY WAS PURE ENJOYMENT AND I HOPE YOUR MARRIAGE SINGS OF ALL THE GOODNESS AND JOY FOUND IN JESUS.

Jon + Senate's Engagement / Stillwater, MN
When you start photographing people and weddings, you always wonder how many friends will be contacting you. Well, I kinda started this photography thing a tad later in life (30) and most of my friends are already married and into careers and families. BUT, there are always a few that wait. I am so thankful my buddy, Jon, waited. We were track captains together in High School and just great friends. He went on to the Naval Academy and continued more school and also serves in the military. His fiance, Senate is super fun and cool and I am so excited to be photographing the wedding at the Mill City Museum next summer. Congrats you guys! Love you both!

go ahead, jump.
